The digital team is seeking an enthusiastic team member for the position of Digital Product Manager of Competition, based in White Plains, NY or Orlando, FL.  The Digital Product Manager is responsible for supporting USTA competition digital platforms, mobile apps, and business initiatives. As a member of the product team, you will be responsible for gathering and prioritizing business requirements, and collaborating with the Director of Product to define product vision, and working closely with multiple development partners and teams to ensure business goals are met.  Proof of Covid vaccination.



  • Contribute to product roadmap development based on a deep understanding of business strategy, user needs, market trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Based on internal business goals, maintain the roadmap to document and showcase incremental delivery of key features in collaboration with our development partner.
  • Manages the communication of key features and benefits of specific products and features across the organization and external customers by producing detailed release notes.
  • Work with the Director of Product to manage the product backlog and collaborate in the sprint development process from planning to release - including bug prioritization, backlog grooming, stand ups, user acceptance testing (UAT), and retrospectives.
  • Support the Product team in collecting user feedback and feature prioritization, translating insights and requests from our product feedback portal into clear user stories for implementation.
  • Assist in the creation of JIRA tickets and all necessary documentation in order to hand off features to the delivery team.
  • Work with the off-shore testing team to lead product validation via user acceptance testing on platforms and apps.
  • Assist in change management after each major release through documentation, training sessions, and support.
  • Manage the processing of all user feedback via the USTA’s feedback portal (Product Board)
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators.

  • 1-3 years digital product management experience – conceptualizing, defining, and delivering products to targeted audiences.
  • Knowledge of the Agile development process and SCRUM principles.
  • You must be detail-oriented and have a proven track record of launching new features and product improvements.
  • Demonstrate experience in driving initiatives through the product life cycle, defining opportunities with clear focus of business strategy.
  • Ability to obtain working knowledge of an application's capabilities to the extent that most user questions can be answered without consulting a developer, product manager etc.
  • Ability to empathize with internal teams, demonstrating capacity to listen and absorb complex understanding of technical and business processes.
  • Ability to navigate a matrixed organization with key stakeholders and partners across various groups, leading by influence.
  • Proven track record of balancing multiple projects at once and successful delivery of projects on time. 
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and App Store management (Apple, Google).
  • Relevant experience within the sports media industry
  • Tennis knowledge is a bonus.
  • Proof of COVID vaccination required
  • This position is Hybrid/Flex - eligible for remote work as outlined in the new flexible hybrid model policy.
