Who We Are

We are Tennis! The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the leader in promoting and developing the sport’s growth on every level in the United States, from local communities to the crown jewel of the professional game, the US Open.

The Role

This is a 10-week program from June 10th through August 15th.

Working hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM through 5:00 PM EST

Hybrid schedule: Must be capable to work on-site 2-3 days per week at the National Campus, Orlando Office.

Hourly rate: $14.00

Key responsibilities pertain to supporting USTA staff, Seasonal Staff, and Temporary Staff working at the National Campus to fix and solve computer software.

Responsibilities & Projects:

  • Troubleshoot and take on sophisticated computer software, programs, and peripheral issues that hinder our clients from their daily business
  • Prepare equipment (laptops, desktops, and printers) for use at the campus
  • Support of desktops, laptop hardware, and software for clients
  • Assist with computer software, system, and hardware problems escalated from the Help Desk which requires onsite user consultation and technical analysis to resolve potential modifications and solutions
  • Increase effectiveness by the support of software applications and end-user productivity tools

  • Sophisticated knowledge of computer systems, software, and hardware conditions
  • Detailed knowledge of computer systems, hardware, operating systems, and software systems
  • Familiarity with networking is a plus, including Windows 10 and Mac OS
  • Solid understanding of Google Workspace (G-Suite), Chrome OS, and Microsoft Office is preferred
  • Experience with developing presentation decks (i.e. PowerPoint/or Google Slides)
  • Attention to detail
  • Capable of working independently and in a collaborative business environment
