The Role

  • Support the creation and execution of all USTA National Campus Food & Beverage and year round Special Events
  • Ensure that all food and beverage event contracts are generated and being followed 
  • Generate, review, and distribute invoices from food & beverage vendor to USTA internal departments for voucher usage and catering
  • Liaison between National Campus Events, guests and USTA Staff (to include Player Development and Player Development Lodge) with the food and beverage vendor
  • Liaison with the beverage contractor and USTA Sponsorship
  • Monitor vending commissions and rebate programs
  • Manage internal and external special event

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years of experience in food and beverage operations and/or event management strongly preferred
  • Google Suite skills
  • A proven track record of prioritization of concurrent and ongoing events
  • Ability to engage customers and deliver the highest level of service experience
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Background in tennis operations a plus but not needed
  • Position is non-exempt
  • Available to work a 5 day, full schedule year round, including evening and weekends dependent upon event
  • Position is considered on-site and site-specific to the National Campus

The expected range for the base salary for this position is $39,000 to $47,000/yr.  Any additional pay or benefits a person may qualify for, are not included in this range. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job
