We are Tennis! The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the leader in promoting and developing the sport’s growth on every level in the United States, from local communities to the crown jewel of the professional game, the US Open.

The Role

This is an 8-week program running from June 10th to August 13th, with the requirement to remain available through the US Open.

Working hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Hybrid schedule: Must be capable to work on-site 2-3 days per week at the National Campus - Orlando.

Hourly rate: $16.00

The Pro Circuit Intern will play a vital role in supporting the preparation and execution of major USTA events, including the US Open and the 2025 Davis Cup Qualifier. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning and operations at the highest level of tennis.

  • Assist in the planning and preparation for the US Open, including updating and maintaining the Tournament Director’s Guide with up-to-date information and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the US Open Wheelchair Tournament staff, helping with event logistics and ensuring smooth operations for participants and staff.
  • Support the team in organizing the 2025 Davis Cup Qualifier, assisting with coordination and event-related tasks in preparation for the tournament.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all event components are aligned and executed effectively.
  • Assist with the preparation of materials, including schedules, event guides, and communications for tournament staff, participants, and volunteers.
  • Help with the coordination of logistics for tournament events, ensuring all operational aspects are in place for a seamless experience.

Who You Are

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
  • A keen interest in event planning, sports operations, and the tennis industry.
  • Attention to detail and a problem-solving attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
