The Role

 

To drive the strategy, knowledge, and innovation surrounding tennis court infrastructure and facility development to enhance tennis delivery across the USTA network, particularly within public parks and community markets.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Stay abreast of standards, industry recommendations, and specifications for tennis court infrastructure.
  • Administer the comprehensive USTA Park Agency Tennis Assessments with leading agencies, including the Portfolio Assessment (PATA+) program.
  • Administer the distribution and timeline of USTA's technical Facility Services projects.
  • Collaborate to identify and establish strategies for the improvement of tennis delivery within markets such as parks and recreation, CTAs, and new facilities.
  • Work directly with relevant parties on any initiatives as assigned.
  • Create a knowledge technical repository
  • Provide support to the Public Parks committees

Who You Are

  • 2-4+ years, engineer in training (EIT)
  • Select involvement with National tennis providers, community tennis associations, and NRPA.  
  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge and technical understanding of site infrastructure, facility design standards, and site specifications. 
  • Ability to conduct site analysis
  • Ability to learn and use Salesforce customer relationship management system. 
  • Highly team-oriented, personable, responsive, independent, and organized.
  • This position is designated as "hybrid/flex" in Orlando and may allow for both remote and on-site work.  Any such position must meet the current USTA hybrid/flex requirements as updated from time to time.  Please consult HR for the most current policy.

The expected range for the base salary for this position is $60,000 - $75,000. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
