We are Tennis! The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the leader in promoting and developing the sport’s growth on every level in the United States, from local communities to the crown jewel of the professional game, the US Open.

The Role
As an embedded member of the USTA social team, this role will create and publish platform-specific USTA Coaching content while ensuring brand voice is maintained across USTA Coaching Instagram, USTA Coaching Facebook Group(s), and YouTube videos published in connection with the USTA Coaching brand. This includes live event coverage throughout the year.
Act as a representative of USTA Social, collaborating with the broader USTA Coaching Content and Curriculum team to develop unique content around key initiatives and real-time events, while project-managing social-specific asset creation.
Follow social media best practices by platform, optimizing content for sizing, relevance, and timing.
Collaborate with social media, creative, and video content teams, and participates in regular brainstorming and pitch sessions.
Maintain quality control standards by ensuring all copy is fact-checked and images are brand-appropriate, while adhering to brand guidelines and voice across platforms.
Ensure all content is properly tagged (e.g., handles, tracking tags, hashtags, geo-location) and that correct links are used.
Support the growth of reach and engagement across USTA Coaching social media platforms, leveraging performance data to refine and optimize content.
Monitor daily news and trends related to tennis, pop culture, travel, and lifestyle to inform relevant content opportunities.
Help grow and foster online community engagement around USTA Coaching topics that reflect the organization’s programs and offerings.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree required
2+ years of experience in social media and/or digital marketing
Strong content editing and creation skills, including experience with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and content management systems.
Demonstrated ability in storytelling and creative activation across social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work creatively and efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Knowledge of tennis, tennis coaching, professional tennis, entertainment, and pop culture; experience in a professional sports environment is a plus.
Available to work nights/weekends and travel for events/assignments as needed
Available to work onsite 2-3 days per week at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona, FL
Available to work in person during the US Open Tennis Championships in Flushing Meadows, NY.
What We Offer
Compensation: This is a non-exempt, part-time position with an hourly rate range of $25.00–$30.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
