The Role

Increase provider adoption of all USTA digital products and USTA national programs and services. Digital products include Serve Tennis, tools, and promotion of USTA digital product partner platforms.

  • Drive adoption of USTA and USTA-affiliated partner products, including Serve Tennis facility management software, ITF World Tennis Number (WTN) products, and USTA Connect to help tennis operators further develop their business and support player activity and engagement
  • Host local and regional impact events to educate, inform, and drive adoption of our digital suite of products to tennis operators in a group setting.
  • Identify and develop a robust pipeline of prospects by attending regional workshops, industry conventions, networking socials, and other methods, including collaboration with USTA National and Section Staff
  • Utilize USTA-approved CRM to build, maintain, and track relationships/sales progress with new prospects and existing customers daily
  • Utilize a USTA-approved digital sales enablement platform to share materials and generate proposals and presentations with customers
  • Refer appropriate adoption leads to USTA Connect partners for follow-up, where applicable
  • Demonstrate software products in a “customer-centric” approach to tennis clubs, providers, and facilities throughout the USA.
  • Communicate client needs with various product owners at USTA and the USTA Connect partner network to enhance future development of digital products

  

Who You Are

  • Strong background in sales and experience in the software and/or tennis industry
  • Knowledge of the USTA organization and tennis industry network is a plus
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to USTA Sections across the country
  • A college degree or equivalent professional experience (minimum 3 years) is required
  • This position is designated as hybrid/flex in Orlando and may allow for both remote and on-site work. Any such position must meet the current USTA hybrid/flex requirements as updated from time to time. Please consult HR for the most current policy.

The expected range for the annual base salary for this position is $65,000-$72,000. This role is eligible for an Incentive Compensation Plan (ICP) bonus. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
