Who We Are
USTA Southwest, one of 17 regional sections across the country that comprise the United States Tennis Association (USTA), is a not-for-profit organization committed to promoting and developing the growth of tennis and increasing participation in the sport in Arizona and New Mexico, and by offering quality recreational and competitive programs for people of all ages and abilities. USTA Southwest originated as the Border States Tennis Association in 1912, and through various iterations and charters, became a part of the United States Tennis Association. For more than a century, our goal has been to further the sport of tennis in our region.

The Role
The Phoenix Local League Coordinator will assist the USTA Southwest (“SWS”) in its mission to promote and develop the growth of tennis. This position is responsible for strategically driving, implementing, and analyzing community-based tennis programs identified in the SWS Strategic Plan, focusing on data-driven growth and player retention within the Phoenix Region.

REGION SPECIFIC DUTIES:
TRAVEL DEMANDS: This position requires low to moderate travel, including Section Events, USTA League Staff Training, National Championship events as authorized, and to tennis facilities within the region. Ability to travel for the job, both inside and outside the Section, including weekends.
